Im torn between purchasing the more affordable Apple Watch SE (cellular) or waiting for the upcoming Series 7. From my understanding the only notable capabilities that the Series 7 has over the SE is the always on display, blood oxygen/ECG capabilities, and a more durable screen. I'm unlikely to use these capabilities, so in my opinion it is Followingyour same logic: iPhone camera: “If only there was an invention that can carry a much bigger sensor and couple better lenses that took photos. Onthe day watch I want the display to be always on. The S5 should have this option disabled. Whenever I toggle the always on option on one of the watches, the setting is synced to the other. So either both have the display always on, or off. Both watches are paired with the phone, and set up as new devices, not restored from backup. Unfortunatelythis only works from the regular face. If you tap either button when the AOD is showing, the watch first returns you to the regular face. Note: the AOD will cut your battery life in half: from 10 days down to 5. Iam seeing retailers selling Apple Watches SE (2023) edition, I don’t know if it’s a new watch or they just rebranded the SE 2 2022 to the 2023 edition.
